1x10 Keep Your Friends Close: The ‘I See You’ note on Ezra’s car could have originally been a real A message, but after Noel clocking on that Hanna could see them, he could have just ditched the ‘-A’ part and just made it look like a ‘prank’. Noel was close to being found out and he was in the all black outfit that we usually see A in.
1x11 Moments Later: After A hit Hanna with the car at Mona’s party, Noel told Aria that him and Sean were there to supposedly pull a prank. However as soon as Hanna has been hit, A drives away, ditches the car and runs back towards the woods where the party is being held. As the ambulance arrives Aria sees Noel in the crowd, but his friend Sean, who he was supposedly there with is nowhere to be seen.
2x13 The First Secret: We’d already seen this moment in the pilot episode of PLL, but Mona shouts to Aria and Alison to wait for her. Alison then laughs it off and leaves Mona waiting. We’ve also seen throughout the series that Mona was a constant victim of Alison’s bullying and even more so in the Halloween special. Later on, Alison receives a note saying “It’s my turn to torture you”. She probably received it from someone who she’d picked on previously, one obvious suspect being Mona.
2x15 Hot Piece of A: Hanna’s boat is capsized after she tries to flee the lake after pushing Lucas in. Mona and Noel turn up not long after Hanna had swam to the shore dripping wet saying they’d been for a dip. They probably could have capsized the boat and got away in the time of Hanna getting back on the land.
Producers have also confirmed that A was born (or started therapy in) 1994, has feelings of overpowering revenge and has been there since the first episode. Both Mona and Noel would have been born in 1994, Mona may have felt need for revenge after Alison picked on her and Mona was also in the first episode. Mona and Noel were also both there when Emily and Maya’s pictures went missing and when Ashley’s “loan” went missing.
We all know Mona is A now. But I always had those feelings that Noel was part of it too.

A: It was just something I came up with in the moment. I figured EVERYONE couldn’t be a fan of vampires. I’m always doing things to entertain myself, glad someone noticed!
